Quantity Surveyor Job in Exeter, Devon
Quantity Surveyor job in Exeter, Devon for a quality, award-winning regional housebuilder. The role offers a salary of between £35,000 - £55,000 (Flexible) + £5k Car Allowance + 10% Discretionary Bonus. Both residential and commercial developer backgrounds or main contractor backgrounds will be considered.
Our client is a quality regional housebuilder, currently delivering 100 units per year. They are proud to deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the buying process and beyond and are committed to delivering homes with quality craftsmanship across Devon and Cornwall. They have won the NHBC Pride in Job awards three years running and Housebuilder of the year. You will be joining a commercial team of 4 and reporting to the Commercial Manager.
Role & Responsibilities
- Tendering subcontract packages and placing subcontract orders
- Processing sub-contractor payments
- Valuations
- Monthly commercial reports
- Variations
- Agreement of final accounts
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders/teams
- Attend Design, technical and commercial meetings.
Required Skills & Experience
- HNC or Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- 2+ Years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor from either Housebuilding, Commercial Development or main contracting background.
- Experienced in pre-contract to final accounts
- Ideally experience in COINS
- UK Driving Licence and own car is essential.
