Quantity Surveyor Job in Finstock, Oxfordshire
Quantity Surveyor job in Finstock, Oxfordshire for a growing quality regional housebuilder, working on developments within an hour's radius of Finstock. The role offers a salary of £45,000 - £60,000, Car Allowance + Bonus + Progression opportunities.
They produce homes with quality, community and sustainability in mind, and use the highest level of craftsmanship throughout the build. Typically producing 4-5 unit developments with homes valued at £750k - £1m. Although independently run, they form part of a wider Group that is ranked as Top 10% most secure companies in the UK, with a turnover of £90m. The role will see you working across live and new sites across different stages and involved from tender to final accounts, including buying and procurement. To be considered we are looking for candidates from a housebuilding or residential main contracting background.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support with cost plans and reporting
- Tendering of packages out to subcontractors
- Tender analysis
- Procurement
- Sub-contractor payments
- Variations
- Final Accounts
- Mentoring of Assistant Quantity Surveyor as the team grows.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally 3+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Housebuilder or residential main contractor background
- Experienced in tender to final accounts
- Driving Licence and own Vehicle.
