The work to create Future Olympia includes the redevelopment of the existing listed exhibition halls - the Grand Hall and the National Hall - and the creation of new offices, a four-screen cinema, a 4,000-seat music venue, a 1,500-seat theatre, two new hotels, new retail outlets and public realm space. All of this will be delivered while allowing the exhibition areas to remain operational and revenue generating.
What will the role look like?
- We have an?opportunity for an experienced MEP QS?with excellent knowledge of MEP packages to join our?commercial team.
- Part of the project?Commercial?team this role is?responsible for the?commercial aspects of a project including; managing specialist sub-contractors, liaising with client & project teams; pricing of variations, interim valuations and valuing sub-contractors' accounts.
- Ensuring the project and business profit objectives and targets are met and cash and margin are managed to maximise performance, all in a manner consistent with the Group processes.
What do we look for?
- Experience in MEP quantity surveying from a specialist MEP?subcontractor or main contractor.
- Skills in client & stakeholder management; cash management and optimisation; risk management; Project financial control, reporting and data management; Change management; Contract procedures; Quantification and costing of construction works.
