JOB TITLE: Quantity Surveyor

Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a construction contractor based in Bridgwater, Somerset who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor. Working in a tight knit team and covering the Southwest, this will be a role working on new build, refurb and maintenance projects.
Duties
- Oversee financial and contractual management of projects.
- Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour, and time.
- Negotiate contracts and work schedules with contractors and suppliers.
- Manage payments for contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed to standard and on time.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and quality, and report any variances.
- Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide advice on legal and contractual issues.
Key Knowledge
- Minimum of 3 Years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Read & Interpret 2D/3D drawings accurately
