Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties, from project inception through to completion, working alongside a project team.
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, Bills of Quantities, tender documents.
- Provide construction phase services including change management, contractor payment applications, forecasts and final accounts.
- Preparation of commercial reports for client use.
- Working collaboratively with other disciplines to provide an integrated approach to client delivery.
- Develop client relationships and provide an outstanding level of service delivery on a project basis, in conjunctions with senior management.
Requirements:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying.
- Conversant in pre and post contract quantity surveying duties.
- NEC4 ECC contract experience.
- Understanding of methods of measurement (CESMM4/MMHW).
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and on own initiative.
- Civils/Highway/Public Realm experience is desirable but not essential.
- A member or working towards the Chartered Institute of Surveyors (RICS) or other recognised equivalent bodies.
