Quantity Surveyor, Nottingham, Retail Fit-out (Up to £40'000 dependant on experience + Benefits)

Company

You will have the opportunity of working for a Global leading Cost Management and Quantity Surveying consultancy.

Job Role

You will be working in the retail sector on fit-outs of high street stores and shopping centres. Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for a range of pre and post contract surveying duties including:

  • Budget estimating
  • Cost planning and preparation of Bills of Quantities
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Reporting on tenders
  • Assembly of contract documentation
  • Cost reporting
  • Interim valuations
  • Agreement of final accounts

You will have the opportunity to work for a variety of Retail roll out clients.

Person

You will be degree qualified (RICS accredited degree) be MRICS or nearing completion of your APC in order to achieve MRICS status, ideally with 4 years plus experience. Preferably with retail sector or roll out programme experience in a consultancy environment.

With excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a professional manner, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own work.
