You will be working for one of the UK's Largest House and Commercial Builders. Giving a great opportunity to enhance your career and CV. This organisation that has a national portfolio of work ranging from, new build, refurb to maintenance contracts.

Job Role

You will be responsible for the management of costs relating to construction projects to ensure overall financial success of a project. Responsible for the commercial management on a number of trade packages across a project.

You will be working alongside a team of experienced construction professionals who are responsible for the development of Town and Commercial Re-Development.

You will:

  • Be client facing on site and client meetings
  • Obtain prices on the partnering agreement
  • Improve relationships with existing Trade Contractors, resolve issues that may arise and communicate requirements
  • Commercialaly aware of regeneration projects from retail to housing
  • Implement group purchasing and subcontractor initiatives and carry out periodic negotiations.

Person

You will be degree standard

    Have up to date relevant knowledge of building legislation. Organised and able to work under pressure. Have up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. Team commitment as well as the ability to work alone. Demonstrates eye for detail and commitment to delivering excellent standards. Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines. Professional attitude and approach to work. Ability to fully operate MS Office (Word & Excel). Have a current and Valid UK driving licence
