My client is now involved with the expansion at Felixstowe Docks. 12 month contract working on a civils extension, they need a competent Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Within this role as Quantity Surveyor you would be responsible the following;

Be a valued member of the project management team, reporting and explain the commercial progress to senior project management colleagues.

Ensuring commercial control of the project

Ensuring correct contract administration

Controlling project costs and managing revenue

Cost and value reporting

To be successful in this role you must have;

A Degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying

Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor

Proven experience of being Lead Quantity Surveyor within a sub contractor, preferably on a build project at groundworks stage

Knowledge of JCT form of contract and preparation of JCT Sub Contract

Strong negotiation skills

Excellent Communication Skills
