Daniel Owen North are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor for a 6 month contract in Carlisle. This project is the construction of a new single carriageway road, incorporating 3 new road bridges, junctions, over bridges & an underpass.
The ideal candidate will have experience in large scale highways projects with a national contractor and be available for the next 6 months.
The Role...
- Accurate reporting to set timescales
- Prompt and regular submission of payment applications (main and sub contractor)
- Project and programme cost, quality & time targets are met
- Maintain and co-ordinate all commercial reports
- Management of subcontract accounts
- identifying, raising and pricing of variations
- Provide commercial expertise to the management team
You must have...
- BSc in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent commercially related discipline)
- CSCS
- CEMAR Experience
- Experience working with a variety of schedule of rates contracts
My client will pay up to £500pd inclusive of hotel allowance if the candidate will be working away and are looking for candidates to start as soon as possible.
