Salary: £60k to £80K plus benefits
About the Role:
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a passion for infrastructure projects? My client, a well-established construction consultancy, is seeking a talented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You'll play a critical role in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, contributing to developments that will leave a lasting impact on communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying process, from feasibility through to final account
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
- Conduct risk, value management, and cost control exercises
- Assess and negotiate contracts and subcontracts
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed financial reports
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Collaborate closely with project teams, stakeholders, and clients
About You:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the infrastructure sector (e.g., roads, rail, utilities, civil engineering)
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, including NEC and JCT contracts
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS, BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
