Quarry Electrician Holme Hall Quarry, South Yorkshire Full-time, permanent: competitive salary Role overview

Breedon are currently seeking an Electrician to join the team at Holme Hall quarry in South Yorkshire.

You will ideally have a ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and work experience in a heavy industrial environment, such as a quarry.

Other requirements are as follows:

  • Time served/apprentice trained Electrical Engineering craftsman
  • PLC and VSD Experience (desirable)
  • Good working knowledge of electrical LV isolation
  • 17th / 18th Edition Wiring regulation BS7671 Certificate
  • A good understanding of Electrical maintenance methods & techniques
  • Knowledge & experience of medium/high voltage networks including switching methods.
  • A working knowledge of BS7671 inspection & testing - qualifications in this area would be desirable
  • A sound working knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment regulations
  • Computer literate
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Good team player
