Breedon are currently seeking an Electrician to join the team at Holme Hall quarry in South Yorkshire.
You will ideally have a ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and work experience in a heavy industrial environment, such as a quarry.
Other requirements are as follows:
- Time served/apprentice trained Electrical Engineering craftsman
- PLC and VSD Experience (desirable)
- Good working knowledge of electrical LV isolation
- 17th / 18th Edition Wiring regulation BS7671 Certificate
- A good understanding of Electrical maintenance methods & techniques
- Knowledge & experience of medium/high voltage networks including switching methods.
- A working knowledge of BS7671 inspection & testing - qualifications in this area would be desirable
- A sound working knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment regulations
- Computer literate
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Good team player
