Salary: Competitive + Benefits HV Bowen, part of Breedon Group, are currently seeking a skilled and experienced professional Quarry Manager to manage our Tan-y-Foel Quarry near Welshpool, Powys. We are looking for an experienced manager of people who can develop, support and motivate the team. You will be focused on driving safety standards, whilst ensuring that all materials are produced and delivered to meet customer expectations. You will lead the team in the day to day safe operation of the site, working to meet production and cost targets and striving for continuous improvement. With a focus on environmental standards, the role will involve community and stakeholder engagement and so good communication skills are essential. This is a Regulation 8 appointment under the Quarries Regulations and as such the successful candidate must show proof of competence through an up-to-date continuing professional development record and have completed, or be working towards, a SHE NVQ Level 4 or QCF Level 6 qualification.
