Breedon are seeking a Quarry Operative to join our team at our Cwt y Bugail Quarry, Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales.

Your key responsibility will be working in the production of roofing slate. You will also work on the walling saws, producing pillared walling and rustic walling. There could be an opportunity to train on the tacsa saw.

The successful candidate will ideally have forklift truck training, however training may be given to a suitable candidate. It would also be advantageous if you have experience of slate splitting, and operating saws and zippers. You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own or as part of a team. You will also have a willingness to learn and be a good communicator. The current working pattern for this role is days however there may be future requirements to work shifts.
