Breedon are seeking a Quarry Operative to join our team based at our Divethill Quarry in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is self-motivated and likes being outside.
We'd love to hear from you if you're willing to learn and have good communication skills. Ideally you will have previous experience working in a quarry environment however we can offer training for the right person!
Your day to day responsibilities will be working on mobile plant machinery in the quarry, carrying out routine general maintenance and working with your colleagues to support the quarry operations; you may also help out on the weighbridge from time to time. The quarry is located away from public transport links, therefore you will need to hold a driving licence for this role.
