Role overview
Breedon are seeking five Quarry Operatives to join our team at our Cwt y Bugail Quarry, Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales.
Responsibilities will depend on current demand of roofing slate production. Depending on experience the following will be within your job role: quarry operations, roofing production, walling saws, producing pillared walling and rustic walling. There could be an opportunity to train on the tacsa saw.
The successful candidates will ideally have experience of operating quarry vehicles; however, training may be given to suitable candidates. It would also be advantageous if you have experience of slate splitting, and operating saws and zippers. You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own or as part of a team. You will also have a willingness to learn and be a good communicator. The current working pattern for this role is days, however there may be future requirements to work shifts.
