Breedon Group plc are currently seeking a Quarry Supervisor to join our team at North Cave Quarry based near Hull.
Your main responsibility will be supervising the day-to-day full operation of the quarry, reporting to the Quarry Manager. Also, the operation of mobile plant, fixed plant, supervising colleagues carrying out these roles and contractors. Flexible attitude to work patterns as the business needs.
This is a hands-on role and as such, the successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications to operate mobile plant. You will have experience of risk assessment and health & safety systems. Ideally, you will also hold a relevant SHE qualification. The successful applicant will understand the true importance of team work, striving to develop, motivate and coordinate team members to achieve optimum performance and a maintain a 'safety first' culture. Training will also be provided
