We're delighted to advertise a new opportunity for a Quarry Supervisor to join our team at our Leaton Quarry near Telford.

Supporting and working alongside our current Quarry Supervisor, you'll assume a greater level of responsibility for managing the plant and leading the team; with safety being the number one priority. Receiving training and mentoring by our very knowledgeable and experienced quarry management team, if you want to build a career and envision yourself in a management role one day, this is the position for you.

Do you have…?

  • Leadership experience in a quarry (or similar) environment
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Quarry Safety Inspections qualification.
  • ACOP Quarry Regulations accreditation.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Safety and/or NEBOSH qualification (advantageous)
  • Geotechnical Level 3 Qualification (advantageous)

As a Quarry Supervisor you will support the safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of the quarry. You will support the Assistant Quarry Manager to continue the promotion of a culture of health and safety best practice by leading in SHE continuous improvement goals. You will also support the induction of contractors and the maintenance and administration of all files. But it's not all administration, you'll still be getting your hands dirty; working alongside and leading the operational team to run the quarry!
