Role overview
Breedon are currently seeking a Rail Process Operator to join our team at Hope Cement Works, Derbyshire. Our Rail teams have responsibility for the whole of the rail operation at Hope Works and are multi-skilled shift teams who play a key part of the operation.
The following skills and experience are needed:-
- An aptitude for mobile plant operation
- First-line maintenance
- Inter-personnel skills with people outside of the working team
- Basic understanding of cement manufacturing process
- Knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality issues
- Experience of working in a team
and the following could be an advantage:-
- Good working knowledge of Network rail rules and regulations
- Rail shunting & Locomotive driving experience
- Stock & quality control
- Experience of working shifts
- Experience of coal discharge operations
- Experience of PFA discharge operations
- Experience of Cement loading operations
