Title: Receptionist

Business area: Utilities - South West Water

Introduction:

Kier and its partnership with South West Water are passionate about water, we help provide high quality drinking and waste water service throughout Cornwall, Devon, Bournemouth and small parts of Somerset.

We work as part of a Framework delivering civil schemes across the regions in the South West, whether it be responding to fix a water leak or replacing a main on planned works, we will be there ensuring we complete the works in a safe and timely way.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for answering the phone. Dealing with both internal staff and SWW customers.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of staff attendance to ensure records are required in the event of an evacuation.
  • General administration duties for the IWDS management team.
  • Ensure that customer contacts are logged in CRM.
  • Handling all office meeting room bookings.
  • Taking minutes of meetings, typing up for approval prior to issue.

Skills and Experience required:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Understanding of Clients and Customers requirements.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and work to deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi task whilst ensuring the accuracy of work in hand.
