Recycling Collections Operative

Salary: £25,817.00 per annum
We are currently looking to add a number of Recycling Collections Operatives to the collections team based out of the Southall Lane Depot. You will work as a part of a small team and will be pivotal in the roadside collection of waste and recycling across the London Borough of Hounslow. You will be collecting a variety of waste streams including dry recyclables, refuse, garden waste, food waste or bulky waste from residents and business.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all allocated works are completed within the planned timescales and that all non-collections are reported using the in-cab system.
- Carefully loading materials into vehicles clearing all spillages made during operations.
- Returning all containers neatly to the curtilage of the property.
- Assisting the driver when manoeuvring the vehicle especially when reversing to ensure safety of yourself and the public.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
