Recycling Yard Operative (with Forklift duties)

Kier Places are now recruiting for a Recycling Forklift & Yard Operative to join our Environmental Services team at Tondu Waste Transfer, overseeing the day to day operations & working collaboratively with the yard team leader, in order to deliver our service contract to Bridgend County Borough Council.
Key Responsibilities
As a Yard Operative, you will be ensuring the safe emptying of the recycling vehicles, the safe running of the baler, and loading of material onto haulier vehicles, whilst following all relevant SSOW and Risk assessments.
What do we need from you?
If you are energetic, punctual and reliable; take a real pride in your work; are comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions; and are able to work well independently as well as part of a team, then we want to hear from you today.
To get the most out of this role, we are looking someone who has a forklift licence, and it would be a bonus if you have a JCB Telehandler license.
