The role:

Reporting to General Manager-APAC you will support and coordinate commercial operations in the region to achieve Pharmanovia ambitious performance objectives across all key geographies.

These objectives include the achievement of company revenue and profit targets, maximising our brands and product lifecycle opportunities, ensuring successful promotion and supply of products, as well as integration and launch of new products in the region.

Main responsibilities & duties:

  • Leading and overseeing the business transfer process coordination across the APAC region
  • Coordination and collaboration between the global Pharmanovia teams and the appointed local partners, to ensure smooth business transition of newly acquired products
  • Leading and overseeing demand planning, working closely with APAC Pharmanovia supply chain to ensure continuity of supply
  • Work with global supply chain and other relevant stakeholder to keep optimising the process of demand planning
  • Coordination of the tender management process to ensure timely submission of tender requests, identify improvement areas & business opportunities
  • Budgeting and forecasting process planning and reporting
  • Leading business reporting initiatives (data collection, automation and KPIs setting and tracking process), developing and improving the APAC dashboard and data analytics
  • To assist in auditing local partners and monitoring the performance KPI of local partners
  • Ensure operations are within compliant licensed requirements, and in line with local regulations and approved SoP's.
  • Lead and oversee general business processes improvements to improve the way APAC teams and local partners teams interact and work together

What we are looking for:

We are looking for applicants who have worked in the Pharmaceuticals Industry and have a deep understanding of operating in the Asia Pacific Region. Your experience should have been gained in an organisation where products are marketed and sold via agents and distributors.

  • Experienced in supporting commercial operations & commercial excellence
  • Experience gained in a regional role within a pharma business
  • Proven track record of managing relationships and communication with business partners
  • Willing to get involved in the business at all levels and across all disciplines and working with global functional in a matrix organisation
  • Local expertise, professional gravitas and strong influence skills
  • Data driven in decision making with the ability to analyse complex situations, focus on the key issues
  • Strongly developed project management skills and experienced in coordinating teams internally and externally
  • Experience of managing demand planning and replenishment strategies for mature brands
  • Experienced in the introduction of products to new markets
  • Good understanding of QA and RA aspects of product management
  • Excellent and proven negotiation skills
  • Understanding of new product development and the role and activities of registration necessary before entering a market or product launch in an international territory
  • Ability to construct a persuasive argument from a well-researched analytical understanding of data
