Reporting to the managing Director this role will oversee the Southern region for our Buildings business, covering our offices based in Maple Cross, Crawley and Southampton.
Job responsibilities
You will manage the resources of the area (people, finance and physical assets) in order to build a profitable pipeline of work, maximise market share by spotting market opportunities and support the preparation of tenders and winning contracts.
We will also need you to fulfil the pipeline of contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximising gross profit and customers satisfaction. Not forgetting to implement the divisional strategy and all group policies including those for SHE and risk management.
At all times we will want you to promote Kier Groups values towards its customers in order to meet or exceed their expectations and achieve the vision of becoming the most highly respected company in the industry.
What do we need from you?
We will need you to have a relevant industry degree or qualification, along with being chartered or incorporated of a relevant institution. We will be looking for previous experience in a similar role where you can demonstrate your success at a strategic level.
