Regional Planning Lead

Remote - Occasional Travel to site in Europe

Senior Planners with experience on Hyperscale Data Centre construction projects will enjoy working for a Data Centre operator with rapid expansion plans across Europe in the next few years.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Senior Planners with leadership experience managing multiple projects to join a client organization and lead the scheduling delivery across a region of Europe. These projects will be from concept through to completion, whilst managing the supply chain and taking ownership of the work from a Scheduling perspective.

Roles and Responsibilities

    Develop and implement comprehensive regional data center planning strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including real estate, operations, engineering, and sales teams, to gather data and insights for effective decision-making. Conduct feasibility studies, site evaluations, and due diligence to assess the viability of new data center projects.

Define and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of regional data center initiatives.

    Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and government agencies to facilitate permit approvals, zoning requirements, and compliance with local regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data center planning and design.

Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in Hyperscale data center planning from preconstruction through to completion, ideally within EMEA. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus. Exceptional project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances. Thorough understanding and experience using P6 and/or Asta Project
