Following a significant recent acquisition and continued expansion of the Group, Breedon Southern Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Regional Planning and Estates Manager to join the team based at our head office at Breedon on the Hill, East Midlands.
Main Duties will include:
- Management of a wide range of estates and development projects covering all associated property and planning issues to support Breedon's growth.
- Administration of estates matters related to Breedon's established network of quarry, ready-mix, asphalt and office locations.
- Provide leadership and direction to manager on planning and estates matters.
- Risk manage the Company's property interests, whilst maintaining landlord and stakeholders' relationships across the current property portfolio.
This role will appeal to someone with a commercially focused mindset with a continuous improvement and 'can do' philosophy. Good communication and problem-solving skills are important, together with the ability to relate to people at all levels, within and out the Company. The successful person will be mobile and willing to travel to the Company's various locations.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and/or have the relevant minerals planning/surveying qualifications with extensive experience within the industry and be self-motivated, pro-active and able to manage a broad range of projects simultaneously with minimum supervision.
