The Role We are searching for a proven Regional Sales Manager with new construction lift industry experience in Technical sales. You will be working for a well-known and approved lift engineering specialist. The company prides itself with the installation of platform lifts, stair lifts & home lifts. As a Regional Sales Manager of new lift installations, you will also be used to travelling as part of your job and happy travelling anywhere in the North West UK. Our client will expect you to manage your own diary & work from home.
The Candidate The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to improve the lives of the end-user B2C sales experience is essential for this role. You will come from the home lift, platform lift or stairlift industry with an engineering background and engineering degree or similar qualifications. The successful candidate will have experience winning new business, project managing the contracts through to completion from concept, survey, CAD drawings to installation, after-care service. Key Responsibilities

Winning new business - surveying, quoting new clients including local authority, housing association
Work collaboratively with the client from start to finish, including ordering key components
Upon completion of audits, you will need to write detailed reports of your findings
Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility
Accountable for developing company customer base or market area

Lead generation and conversion, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales targets
Validates that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms & conditions, quality & safety
Hand-over to installation engineering team with complete & correct information
Promoting all products through client presentations - building product knowledge with factory visits.
