Breedon is a leading construction materials group in the UK and Ireland. We operate two cement plants, around 80 quarries, 40 asphalt plants, 170 ready-mixed concrete and mortar plants, nine concrete and clay products plants, four contract surfacing businesses, six import/export terminals and two slate production facilities.

We are currently seeking a Relief Concrete Plant Supervisor. You will mainly be based at our Coventry plant however you will also be required to work at a number of different concrete plants in wider Midlands area.

You will ensure that concrete orders are dispatched to meet customer requirements and conduct administration tasks, including using IT systems in order to efficiently operate the site. You will also be responsible for assisting our maintenance fitters and business partners in maintaining site housekeeping to a high standard and actively identifying and implementing site improvements. With a focus on environmental standards the role will involve supporting community relations in a constructive and proactive manner. You will also support the Production Manager with day-to-day plant management.

A commitment to achieving world class safety standards, strong communication skills and the ability to work well with our drivers and other colleagues are all important. It would be an advantage if you have worked in a similar role before and have a good understanding of general plant maintenance, and relevant qualifications such as First Aid.

You will be provided with a business-use van to travel between sites, so a full driving licence is essential.
