Location: Office based - Langston Road, Loughton
Business Area: Kier - Housing Maintenance - Grainger Housing Association contract
Contract: Permanent, full time - Monday to Friday, flexible hours considered between 35 and 40 hours per week
Kier Places are recruiting now for a Repairs Administrator to join our Housing Maintenance team in Loughton on our Grainger Housing Association contract, where your role will be key to supporting the delivery of a planned maintenance & repair solution for our prestigious client. You will be providing administrative support to your colleagues on the contract, the tradesman & operatives, the client, and the residents of the houses managed by the association.
Key Responsibilities
As a Repairs Admin with Kier Housing Maintenance, the main aim of your role is scheduling of works & appointments, and to deal with enquiries & calls from clients, customers & suppliers. Scheduling & Administration will revolve around maintenance works for gas & heating breakdowns, servicing appointments, annual inspection programmes, managing Landlord Gas Safety Record documents, and managing Work In Progress.
Just as importantly, we will also look to you to provide support to the management team; general contract administration support including reports, spreadsheets & memos; arranging internal meetings and taking of minutes; process office supply orders and maintain stock & equipment requirements; and manage and distribute mail & maintain filing systems.
What do we need from you?
The ideal Repairs Administrator will be competent in using the Microsoft Office suite, and it would be highly advantageous if you've had experience using CAFM / IWMS / workplace / work order management systems such as our in-house system Concept Evolution / FSI Go. You should also have some knowledge of & experience in similar industries to housing maintenance, construction, or property services; and have an office administration background.
