Dutton Recruitment are seeking a Repairs Supervisor for work in the Wakefield/Ossett area

Due to continued growth within our client's Repairs and Maintenance sector we are seeking an experienced repairs planner to coordinate day to day repairs with the directly employed workforce & supply chain partners.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record in this field & demonstrate ability to work as part of a wider team but with sole responsibility for allocated regions.

Previous experience of organising daily diaries and planners & interacting with both employees and client is essential.

This is full time and permanent position for 40 hours per week. The current opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm however there may be occasions where flexibility is required to meet the needs of our client. The role will be based out of the client's Wakefield Office, J40 of the M1.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with clients / customers ensuring a high level of communication.
    Plan and co-ordinate maintenance contracts, ensuring:
  • All repairs are planned economically in line with the Company's contractual obligations;
  • All works are being carried out cost effectively;
  • Operatives are kept busy at all times;
  • The customer has been called to explain the works to be carried out, and the approximate time of arrival prior to sending engineers to any visit, either planned or reactive
  • Carry out works in accordance with the Company's standard operating procedures;
  • T system is kept fully updated at all times;
  • Check fully and sign off the daily timesheets in accordance with the Company's standard procedure.
  • Client / customer liaison to arrange satisfactory execution of the works.
    Placement of purchase orders for materials and sub-contractors as required through I.T system.
  • Placement of plant requisitions as per plant procedure.
  • Maintenance of inputting and collation of completed works record sheets as requested.
  • Reporting to Senior Customer Liaison Officer and appropriate Manager with regard to resource allocation and status of works orders.
  • Liaising with Client's representatives with regard to receipt, allocation and status of works orders.
  • Preparation of documentation for individual works order for valuation.
  • Liaising with Supervisors and Managers for day-to-day operations of the contracts.
  • Ensure the correctly qualified and experienced operatives are sent to the relevant planned and reactive calls.
  • Produce accurate invoices daily, adhering to the Company's internal procedures and Client's format.
  • Maintain a high level of communication and co-operation with other departments within the Company.
  • Undertake tasks as assigned by Management.
  • Work with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as directed and deemed reasonable.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in a call centre environment or similar customer service role.
    Communication Skills.
  • Professional email and letter writing.
  • Professional Call handling.
  • Conflict management skills would be advantageous.

Qualifications

  • NVQ3 Contact Centre operations / Customer Service would be advantageous.
