Repairs Scheduler / Planner / Coordinator
Location: Office based - Langston Road, Loughton
Business Area: Kier Places - Housing Maintenance
Contract: Permanent, full time - Monday to Friday, flexible hours considered between 35 and 40 hours per week
Kier Places are recruiting now for a Repairs Scheduler to join our Housing Maintenance team in Loughton on our social housing and housing association contracts, providing repairs & maintenance services across London & the nation, where your role will be key to supporting the delivery of a planned maintenance & repair solution for our prestigious clients. You will be providing administrative support to your colleagues on the contract, the tradesman & operatives, the client, and the residents of the houses managed by the association.
Key Responsibilities
As a Repairs Scheduler with Kier Housing Maintenance, the main aim of your role is scheduling of works & appointments, and to deal with enquiries & calls from clients, customers & suppliers. Scheduling & Administration will revolve around maintenance works for breakdowns, servicing appointments, annual inspection programmes, managing safety record documents, and managing Work In Progress.
You'll oversee & schedule a team of operatives plus specialist subcontractors; liaise with clients for access arrangements; maintain effective work systems & documentation compliance; work to service level agreements for all enquiries, whilst working to established processes & procedures; and manage the Repairs Management systems.
Just as importantly, we will also look to you to provide support to the management team; general contract administration support including reports, spreadsheets & memos; arranging internal meetings and taking of minutes; process office supply orders and maintain stock & equipment requirements; and manage and distribute mail & maintain filing systems.
What do we need from you?
The opportunity is yours for the taking to become a Repairs Scheduler with Kier - you should have experience in a similar scheduler, coordinating or planner role in order to manage and plan our engineers, labour operatives, and specialist subcontractors; you should be a proactive, resourceful, confident & driven person, continuously looking to improve; have some knowledge of & experience in similar industries to housing maintenance, construction, or property services; and have an office administration background.
You will need to be competent & confident in using the Microsoft Office suite & other general software packages, and it would be beneficial if you've had experience using CAFM / IWMS / workplace / work order management systems such as our in-house system Concept Evolution / FSI Go.
