Location: Flexible working available, where you will be based out of our Loughton office with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites

Business Area: Housing Maintenance - Muir Housing contract

Contract & hours: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Kier Places are recruiting now for a Contract Support Manager to join our Housing Maintenance team in Loughton, to support the contract & operations team in delivering a customer centric voids, repairs, & planned works maintenance service for our client, Muir Housing Group Association.

Your role will be key to assisting in the management client & key stakeholders, and service delivery in line with contract portfolio KPI's and local performance indicators, as well as managing a team of mobile & static working with an element of administration and subcontractor management.

Key Responsibilities

As a focused Contract Support Manager with Kier Housing Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation & management of the Quality Management System, compliance with contract quality requirements, and record keeping compliance; assessing and identifying compliance or operational risks and assisting in developing risk management strategies; providing guidance and assistance on Quality matters; and providing continuous improvement support to operational delivery. We will also look to you to ensure Audits are undertaken in accordance with the Audit Schedule and that any adverse findings are closed out in a timely manner.

As a trusted member of the Housing Maintenance South team, you'll be supporting the Contract Manager to ensure that our supply chain are completing required servicing regimes and producing required documentation in a timely manner to ensure compliance; ensure contractual KPI's and SLA's are achieved and exceeded; and you'll be reviewing non-conformance reports to identify trends & provide statistical data to the Contract Manager and Kier Compliance team for reports.

Working collaboratively with all levels of internal & external stakeholders you'll strive to ensure clear communication between internal & external staff and clients; provide technical and admin support to the client and support staff; work with the Resource Scheduling team to offer support and direction; provide site training/mentoring on the requirements of the Quality Management System; encourage feedback from all employees and sub-contractors on areas of improvement; and work in partnership with our clients to achieve an efficient service delivery.

What do we need from you?

We want to hear from you if you - have suitable operational and compliance management experience; working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work; full understanding of risk management; have a proven background in a similar role within our industry - it would be a bonus if you also have a HND or Degree in an industry related subject.
