Project Assistant (Resourcing) Location: Norwich Contract: Anglian Water This role will be responsible for supporting the HR Project Manager in delivering the resourcing project plan. This will be done by keeping up to date on all vacancies and resource requirements within the alliances and ensuring all vacancies are advertised and recruitment and selection is dealt with in an effective and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and keep an up to date list of all vacancies within the alliance.
  • Ensure best practice recruitment and selection is carried out efficiently and effectively
  • Build strong working relationships with Area Managers, keeping them up to date on the recruitment activity within their areas
  • Build strong working relationships with Recruitment and Human Resources within the partnering businesses
  • Gain and understanding of the different recruitment processes used within the partnering businesses
  • Understand the recruitment approval processes within the partnering businesses
  • Support with recruitment events
  • Support with trainee recruitment events
  • Support with internal trainee programmes.
  • Communicate with potential candidates via telephone, email, Facebook regarding current vacancies within the alliances
  • Support with apprenticeship programmes
  • Ensure correct documentation is completed and collected following an interview process including Right to Work and interview question sheets
  • Promote Equality and Diversity in the recruitment process
  • Support with interviews
  • Key Skills and Qualifications:
    • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
    • Excellent IT skills and full ability to use Microsoft Office
    • Experience in working in a fast based, busy environment
    • Knowledge of recruitment and selection
    • Full clean, UK drivers licence
    • Positive 'can do' attitude
    • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills - open, honest and transparent
    • Ability to work well under pressure with flexibility to adapt to constant change and cope with competing priorities
    • Computer literate with good written and numerical skills
    • Self organised and self motivated
    • Assertive, diplomatic and patient
    • Solutions orientated - confident in making decisions in demanding circumstances
    • Excellent customer service focus
