Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) are an internal MEP self-delivery business within the Kier group, supporting the internal regional businesses across the UK on complex and challenging projects. The business has a full design, construction and commissioning capability.
Location: Basingstoke
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Responsibilities
Producing Revit models and Cad drawings using a variety of software. Including Autocad, Revit, IES, Solibri, Navisworks. Ability to work from paper and pen or digital mark-ups from our M&E engineers and to work closely with them to understand their design requirements to help complete 2D or 3D designs.
Your day to day will include:
- Co-ordination of Mechanical and Electrical Services through co-ordinated ceiling plans in 2D to full BIM 3D co-ordinated models and clash detection reports
- Use of Autocad's Dynamic Blocks and Revit Families
- Attending Design team meeting and coordination meetings
- Relevant industry qualifications: Trade/HNC/HND
- Understanding of BIM standards, including ISO 19650, COBie and CIBSE Standards
- Experience in reading architectural and M&E drawings
