Location: Birmingham, this is an agile role where you will be based out of a Kier local office with home working available and some travel to the offices and sites
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: Competitive + 26 days of annual leave + Benefits
Responsibilities
As a Road Lighting Technician, you will undertake services within an engineering environment such as scheme investigations, lighting inspections, data collection and analysis and preparing reports and identification of repair options.
Your day to day will include:
· Prepare specifications and drawings for repair schemes and works/construction inspection and supervision to progress scheme design, development, and construction
· Prepare technical designs in accordance with approved design procedures and systems
· Prepare drawings, documents and use specialist software such as AutoCad
Who are we looking for?
This role of Road Lighting Design Technician is great for you if you have:
· Holder of a Full UK Driving Licence
· Experience and knowledge of the road lighting design discipline
· Knowledge of engineering drawings using AutoCAD
