Our client is an independent Builders and Timber Merchant based near the Essex and Suffolk boarder. They supply a broad range of heavy & lightside building materials, timber & sheets and have a truss & engineered floor manufacturing facility. They now seek enthusiastic Roof Truss Designer to join their dynamic team in the East Anglian Region.
The role:
In addition to producing roof truss designs for manufacture using Gangnail, your role will include close liaison with your customers, responding to technical queries, producing accurate quotations and designs. You will also have strong links with the production team to ensure they are provided with the relevant information for manufacturing.
We want to speak with you if:
: You have prior experience in designing roof trusses
: You are familiar with specialist design software, ideally MiTek or similar (e.g. Wolf, GangNail, Alpine).
: You are strong on detail and accuracy with excellent communication and project management skills, ideally with customers such as housebuilders, building contractors etc.
