We are looking for a Roof Truss designer to join a growing business and busy design office, as the successful candidate primarily you will be undertaking designs of roof trusses for local, regional and national house builders. While liaising with the buying departments and producing quotations.
What do you need for the role?
- Experience within the engineered timber, Roof Truss dedicated EWP supplier or timber frame manufacturer or any other construction design background is preferable
- Along with experience in the following software - Steico, James Jones, Metsa, Gangnail, Mitek, Wolf, Autocad
- Ability to work within a team
- Excellent commercial awareness to complement your technical ability, and strong communication skills to work closely with your customers, colleagues and other interested parties
This opportunity would suit someone who has been in the industry for a couple of years looking to make their next step on the career ladder. You would need to be confident in offering technical advice and ensuring accurate and timely information is available to the manufacturing team.
