Protocol are delighted to invite a skilled safeguarding practitioner to deal with a caseload of young people and vulnerable adults needing higher level support for a range of issues including mental ill health and child protection concerns.
You will need to demonstrate empathy, compassion, patience, confidence and excellent communication skills. You also must have a good understanding of the need to work together with colleagues, families and outside agencies, and to share information appropriately to protect young people and vulnerable adults.
This role is offering Full-time hours and will run on a fixed term contract.
Job title: Safeguarding Practitioner
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay rate: £22,000 per annum pro Rata (£9,000)
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: Until 20/05/2021
Assignment reference: 233080-BB
You will need to have:
Experience with young people and vulnerable adults with mental health issues
Experience in an educational setting of providing higher level pastoral support
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures and have complex safeguarding training
