We're looking for a SHE Advisor to join our Thames Water team based in Swindon region, Wiltshire. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a SHE Advisor to be based on our Thames Water Framework based in the Swindon region (M4 Corridor) with the opportunity for Agile work, to ensure health and safety guidelines are communicated, and adhered to.

Your day to day would include:

  • Drive to deliver continual SHE improvements across the Business Unit
  • Ensure Kier's SHE procedures are implemented to allow all relevant legislation to be complied with
  • Provide support and advice to any part of Kier business unit operations on SHE issues and to ensure that the Kier SHE policies and any local guidance are fully aligned in order that no conflict or confusion exists
  • Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are correctly reported and support is provided to investigations in accordance with Kier SHE policies and procedures
  • Ensure all SHE lessons learnt and other High Value Learning Events (HVLEs) are communicated
Who are we looking for?

This role of SHE Advisor is great for you if:

  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent (or demonstrable IPD/CPD equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 Standards
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience in similar or supporting post
  • Experience working understanding of SHE legislation
