Breedon are currently seeking a Sales Administrator to join our small commercial team at our Longwater office in Norwich, Norfolk.
You will be responsible for checking, obtaining approval and entering ticket information for aggregates, asphalt and concrete. The role will also include purchase ledger for the Longwater asphalt plant and ensuring that month end deadlines are met. You will also be required to work closely with all members of the commercial team.
The key accountabilities of the role are as follows:
Ticket admin that includes: aggregate & asphalt - mileage queries, recording and processing return loads, part loads, split loads, chute loads entering waiting time / daywork information; and concrete - mileage queries, recording and processing return loads, checking and processing waiting times.
Customers cash sale online payments covering aggregates , asphalt and concrete plants, inputting unique reference information onto dispatch screen along with the completion of the allocation spreadsheet for the accounts department
Raising purchase orders for the Production department, monitoring and ordering supplies for the office
Issuing and goods receipting of purchase orders
Completion of purchasing spreadsheet on a monthly basis
Ensuring month end is completed on time and liaise with the management accounts department.
Assisting with receipt of customer orders, accurate input of orders onto shipping software, undertake effective despatch planning through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams. Monitor the progress of orders after production and despatch, reschedule orders in the event of customer changes or problems with production or delivery, ensuring that the customer is informed throughout.
Assisting internal sales during busy periods by inputting and maintaining digital quotations.
You will have excellent IT, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. You will also have a good eye for detail, and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a small team.
