Sales and Distribution Coordinator
Dunbeg, Oban - West Scotland
Full-time, permanent position
Breedon are currently seeking a Sales and Distribution Coordinator based at our Dunbeg Office by Oban in the West Scotland Region. As part of the Customer Services Team, you will help to ensure that all of our customers experience first class service; from initial sales enquiry and pricing through to efficient delivery of our materials.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: -
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries by issuing prices and quotations in a timely and professional manner
- Liaising with the Area Sales Manager to ensure that products are priced correctly while meeting customer needs and expectations
- Following up quotations, amending as and when required
- Taking customer orders and making sure they are delivered at the desired times through effective distribution and transport arrangements
- Liaising with the Area Operations Manager to pass on any specific information on customer orders and products to ensure that stocks are in line with sales
- Liaising with Credit Control to resolve customer queries whilst ensuring customers trade within agreed credit limits
Working in a fast paced and challenging environment, you will have the ability to make decisions in a timely fashion, remain positive and think laterally whilst ensuring company targets are being met. You will also be required to manage competing deadlines by estimating timeframes, anticipating and reacting to problems to implement solutions in a timely manner.
You will work with colleagues and clients on both a formal and informal level and you will be an excellent communicator and a good team player. You will have exceptional customer service skills, excellent attention to detail and good computer skills and have experience of Microsoft Office.
