We are searching for a skilled Salesman for an approved loading systems manufacturer.

As a Sales Executive in the automated doors industry, you will be familiar with most types of manufacturers.

You will also be used to travelling as part of your job and happy travelling from London down to the South coast of the UK. It will be expected that you manage your own client visits and all Installation projects.

Our client is a market leader in the automated doors industry and loading systems industry, that offers a comprehensive service. We are looking for a skilled Sales Executive with Installation sales experience. The ideal candidate will come from the automated doors industry or loading systems industry with an engineering background and engineering degree or similar qualification including NVQ 2 or NVQ 3. The successful candidate will have experience winning new business and project managing the contracts through to completion.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for - Winning new business from surveying and quoting new clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the client from start to finish, including ordering key components.
  • Upon completion of audits, you will need to write detailed reports of your findings. This will include your recommendations for installation of package platform lifts.
  • Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility
  • Accountable for developing company customer base or market area

The Sell

  • Accountable for lead generation and lead conversion, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets
  • Validates that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms and conditions, quality and safety
  • Accountable for hand-over to installation engineering team with the complete and correct information
  • Timely and accurate reporting

The Person

  • Having the traits of a hunter and farmer are essential to be successful.
  • You will not be averse to traveling between clients account managing and pitching new business.
  • You will target Architects and main building merchant contractors to gain new projects and specifications whilst trying to break existing specifications of competitor products.
  • Your targets will be in terms of turnover, profit, and number of installs.
  • You will be of the mindset that this is your business and you will be driven to put in the effort, miles and time to make this a success

Key Accountabilities - Manage Sales Funnel

  • Gives direction and focus on the right customers through proper customer analysis
  • Ensures the correct value proposition & Executes and advises pricing guidelines for his/her area
  • Approves tenders and orders within salesperson's limits
  • Accountable for leading the Sell process to ensure results within orders, contracts, profitability and market price development
