We are currently seeking a Sales Manager for our Welsh Slate Aggregates products, based in the North Wales area. Reporting to the Area Commercial Manager, you will manage existing customers and target new business focussing on both sales and margin growth.
You will undertake detailed reporting of market information including won/lost, tenders and customer/market information, and will develop strong relationships with key accounts understanding the paths our material takes before it reaches the end user. Ensuring that budget expectations are met in terms of both volume and margin, you will track customer and market trends and have the ability to react accordingly. You will also have one direct report in the form of a Customer Service Agent (CSA); as part of your role you will therefore be required to coach, train and develop this person alongside managing their performance.
