Reporting to: Major Works Director

Division: Lift Engineering

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + Attractive Commission + Benefits

The Role:

The Sales Manager will be working for a passionate company selling Major Works and Modernisation's of passenger lifts both traction and hydraulics. Depending on your location this role may be home-based.

The candidate will be working closely with the Department Director to manage contracts. You will be a confident individual with a strong knowledge and experience within both the major modernisation and new lift sales.

The role also requires technical, engineering and field management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

    Conducts site surveys in a safe and confident manner.

    Identifying, quantifying, securing new business opportunities as well as the development of existing.

    Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained in all areas of your responsibility

    Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business

The Candidate:

    A proven salesman with a strong pipeline and client portfolio Confident in meeting & communicating with clients, consultants to review, discuss their requirements.

    Experienced in tender bid compilation, presentation and contract negotiations.

    Strong analytically, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    Computer literate in excel, word, outlook and power-point.

    Good knowledge, practical understanding of EN regulations relating in-service to lifts and escalators.
