Basic salary to £50,000 + Fully Expensed Car, Pension

We have been retained to find a Technical Sales Manager to cover the West Midlands northwards to the Manchester region.
Our client is one of the top Permanent Modular Building manufacturers within the UK and has an enviable reputation for quality with a strong ethical approach to doing business. They manufacture in the UK and in the main operate as a Principle Contractor dealing in the Education, Childcare and Commercial Office space sectors. In addition, they will help design buildings for a variety of special purposes from churches to boat houses.
You will work from home visiting their Midlands based satellite office once per week. Whilst you will be a salesperson used to providing a permanent build solution to your clients you must possess an in depth understanding of Building Regulations, Fire Regulations and the basics of obtaining Planning Permission. The role will really suit a sales professional from the Offsite Construction sector who will enjoy not only the sale but also holding onto the relationship with the client for ever. The business is in the enviable position of being able to pass on enquiries for the region and also has repeat customers.
The cradle to grave attitude that our client believes in working to is also crucial to somebody being successful - you will understand the brief, advise technically on its feasibility, get your design and estimating team to produce costings and drawing, present and close and then hold your clients hand through the whole process of "site build" until key handover and beyond.
We are looking for candidates who have either sold a Permanent Modular building offering, sold Light Steel Frame or possibly Timber Frame BUT on a technical basis with an understanding of Building Regulations, Fire Regulations and a basic understanding of the Planning Process - Without this we will be unable to consider your application.
