Currently recruiting for an experienced scaffolding estimator to work as part of an existing team for a successful scaffolding company in the South East. Duties will include but not limited to: • Develop a working relationship with new & existing clients via office and site visits. • Carry out all quotations as per the Estimating Manual and standard presentation format. • Engage with internal and external scaffold engineers to develop appropriate plans to assist with preparing detailed and accurate quotations for tenders and variations/adaptions as required. • Attend pre-contract meetings (internally and externally) on projects that have been directly carried out by them. • Liaise with operation staff on estimating requirements. • Ensure return dates are met for tender bid returns. • Assist commercial staff on pricing variations not covered within the current S.O.R • Assist the estimating Director to ensure adequate enquiries are received on a month-to-month bases and order values are met to ensure monthly targets are met. • Uphold the company values to high standards when visiting customers and staff alike on site. • Be part of any pre-start meetings when handing over live projects from estimating to contracts and commercial staff. • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and be a team player. • To keep abreast with current health and safety issues • Willingness to learn new skills and tasks and share that knowledge with others within the immediate and outer teams.
