Kier Utilities is looking to recruit a Scheduler who will work as part of the NSA Network Planning and Logistics Team to effectively plan the daily work of all NSA resources. The planner will need to consider many elements including customer commitments, work priority, efficiency, skills and streetworks noticing for both reactive and planned tasks.
Your key responsibilities will consist of:
· Day to day planning for all planned and reactive jobs within the NSA area.
· Jeopardy Management to avoid fines and customer complaints
· Communication with both internal and external customers regarding planned and ongoing work.
· Ensuring all required information is provided to the operational teams to complete the task planned.
· Ensure all business processes are followed with recording all necessary information on the system in a timely manner.
· Work with other planners / planning managers in the NSA, to best utilise available resource.
· Monitor all reports to maintain performance levels, whilst balancing a dynamic workload.
· Ensure operational activities comply with requirements of New Roads, Streetworks Act and Traffic Management Act.
· Ensure the quality of information is monitored and any issues are highlighted to the planning manager.
· When required, complete the duties of the NSA Admin Assistant.
· Previous experience of planning/scheduling for Utilities contracts.
· Able to manage conflicting priorities whilst under pressure, with strict attention to detail.
· Ability to demonstrate resilience, working in a very reactive and fast paced environment.
· Ability to use own initiative, as well as working as part of a team.
· Proven ability to use, understand and adapt to a variety of IT systems.
· Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
· Experience within the Water industry would be highly advantageous.
