Protocol are working with a leading FE College based in the South West London area. They offer a broad and innovative curriculum for people aged 16+, with a small section for courses for young people aged 14-16 with their school link programmes. Their courses for 16-18 year olds include A Levels and an extensive range of vocational and technical qualifications (diplomas/certificates) and apprenticeships from entry level to level 5. This institution had a 95.7% A Level pass rate (2019), 65.2% A Level students gained A*-C grades (2019), 93% vocational pass rate (2019) and have a Prestigious Matrix quality standard accreditation for Information, Advice and Guidance.
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join them on a temporary basis as a Science Teacher starting ASAP
Role responsibilities
Planning and delivering a mix of all Sciences;Applied Science and Access to Nursing, Btec National Foundation Applied Science, Applied Science Level 3
Teaching 21 hours per week
Motivating students to excel in their subject area
The person & qualifications
You must have a recognised teaching qualification
Have a minimum of a L3 in a relevant subject / degree
Recent experience of teaching Science up to Level 3
Must be enthusiastic and inspiring to learners
Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)
