Do you want to be part of one of the biggest civil engineering projects currently being undertaken in the UK?

Do you display strong leadership and operational management skills?

If the answer to these two questions is "YES" then this could be the perfect role for you.

The Client:

My client (Tier 1) is looking for a Sub-Agent to be part of their team working on an exciting tunnelling/civils' project in the South West of London. The project is a 6 year, joint venture between 3 of the leading civil engineering companies and has a budget of £4bn. These companies all pride themselves on their ability to take on large and complicated projects, and succeeding in delivering the finished project.

We have been working these clients for the best part of 20 years, and know them to be an extremely good employer, with safety and employee well-being atop their list of priorities.

The Role:

This role will obviously mean shift work, and will be run on a 7:2, 7:3, 7:2 basis.

You will also:

* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulatory bodies regulations
* Undertake all works in accordance with the specific ITP, ensuring that the works are built to the correct standards.
* When working on SCL, maintaining Profile control for excavation and spraying.

You (the candidate):

For the SCL Shift Manager is it essential that candidates have 'at least five years' experience of sprayed concrete lining tunnel construction.

You also require:

* A good working knowledge of English, both written and verbal, and be able to report at management level.
* Experience of providing technical and engineering support at site on previous tunnelling contracts, ideally including SCL Primary Lining and Squareworks.
