We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our Highways Major Projects team on our A417 project based in Gloucester to manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification in order to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality and budget. Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime.

Salary: Up to £42k + Car + Benefits



Responsibilities

As a Section Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing the technical compliance of the project to the design specification in order to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality.

Your day to day will include:
  • Support your manager and any staff under your control
  • Manage and control your section of the work according to agreed programmes
  • Hold a responsibility for the implementation and maintaining of safe systems of work in accordance with Kier Highways SHEA Policy and procedures, all legal requirements and best practice within Kier Highways major projects.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the Client and other Stakeholders

Who are we looking for?

This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:

  • Relevant construction related HNC / Degree
  • Experience in Highways, drainage and earthworks
  • CSCS card
