We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a Section Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Teesside to manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification, in order to meet the required quality, time and safety standards of the project (section).

Key Responsibilities

As a proactive and ambitious Section Engineer, you will manage the technical compliance of the project to the specific design specification and assist in preparing as-built drawings and sketches. You will assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, provide engineering support to ensure all technical issues are resolved, and the setting out points are regularly checked. You will follow the Kier Health and Safety policy and assist in ensuring a safe working environment.

What do we need from you?

To be a successful Section Engineer, you will need previous experience working with structural steelwork, cladding, reinforced concrete and have commercial and contractual awareness. You will hold a valid UK driving licence and be confident in approaching clients and the general public in a professional manner. A related HNC/Degree and experience in a similar role is required.
